The myHero program is for those who want "sponsor" a soldier. This is a commitment to pack and ship one HeroBox each month to your soldier(s) per the length of time you have specified. The myHero program utilizes our custom web platform to connect you with a service member. This is a great opportunity to see the real impact you have on our Heroes. Please read below before registering.

1. Register with HeroBox. The first step is to register. After submitting your information, a verification email will be sent to you. Click on the link in the email to verify your email and login to your account. You must login to adopt a soldier.

2. Adopt your Hero. After logging in to your account, you will notice a "Add Hero" button. Simply select the gender and length of your commitment, and press the "Add Hero" button. Congratulations, you have adopted a soldier.

3. Get to know your Hero. Once you have adopted a soldier, their name, email and address will be displayed in your account. You can contact your soldier immediately. To learn more about your soldier, including what items they are currently requesting, simply click on their name.

4. Learn how to pack/ship. After adopting a soldier, you will receive a confirmation email with a support document attached. You can also access it below. It will walk you through how to pack and ship a HeroBox.

5. Support your Hero. By adopting a soldier, you are committing to send one HeroBox each month to your soldier(s) per the length of time you have specified. After sending your HeroBox, you must confirm shipment by logging into your account, clicking on your soldier's name and entering the shipping information.

PLEASE NOTE: HeroBoxes are due to ship on (or around) the first of the month.

1. How much does it cost? You can expect to pay about $25 per HeroBox. The postage for the USPS flat rate box (11x8.5x5.5 ) is $10. On average, it costs about $15 to fill the box.

2. How do I know what my soldier wants? Click on your soldiers name insider your account. It will show you their profile including requested items best way to confirm delivery is to communicate with your soldier. You can also ask for a Delivery Confirmation from the USPS.

3. What do I send if my soldier hasn't updated his/her request list? Send the items in their request list. You can improvise with some of the most commonly requested items found here.

4. When are HeroBoxes due to ship? HeroBoxes are due to ship on the first of every month. We understand that schedules vary, so within 5 days of the first is acceptable. Please remember that the soldiers are anticipating delivery.

5. Can I send pictures of my efforts? Yes! Please send any pictures or correspondence of your efforts and we will post on our site for everyone to see.

6. What are the stickers for? The stickers identify the HeroBox. Print out, cut on dotted line and tape to your HeroBox.
