How does this work?
Once you have registered your unit, you are in our database and waiting to be paired with a unit sponsor. A unit sponsor is a group or organization that has agreed to host a HeroDay, a one-time event where they will pack and ship HeroBoxes to your unit.
When will we receive our unit sponsor?
We don't have as many unit sponsors as we do individual sponsors. The typical wait time to receive a unit sponsor is 30 days. However, the typical wait time to receive an individual sponsor is 5 days. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU AND YOUR UNIT REGISTER INDIVIDUALLY AS WELL.
How often will we receive a shipment of HeroBoxes?
A HeroDay is a one-time event, so you should expect to receive only one shipment per unit sponsor. There is no limit on the number of unit sponsors you can have though, and your unit will continue to be paired with new unit sponsors as they are available.
Can a unit sponsor pick me?
No. We have developed a "next in line" system where your unit is listed in our database according to the date you registered and the total number of HeroBoxes received. Unit sponsors can’t choose, they are given the next unit in line.
What is considered a Unit?
We use the term “unit” to refer to a group of deployed service members. A unit can be a platoon, troop, squadron or other military unit that consists of multiple deployed service members.

Our main goal is to provide you with the items you have requested in your profile. It is important to keep your profile updated.
